I grew up witnessing the transformational power of hair at my childhood home. My mother would work with friends and family in addition to being a full time cosmetology instructor. I started cutting hair when I was 17. At first for friends, then friends of friends, eventually deciding to pursue the trade professionally.

My post beauty school education started in Silver Lake and Beverly Hills, California. I aided multiple celebrity stylists and colorists before a two year apprenticeship under a senior stylist specializing in cutting. After this apprenticeship I continued working - alongside international educators, trendsetters, and creative drivers of the beauty industry. 

Over the last 18 years I have worked with a spectrum of creative professionals. It has been an honor which continuously inspires and evolves my work. My cuts have been published in every way, print magazines and papers, music videos, advertising, fine art photography, the red carpet, and of course social media.

My personal interests and that of my clientele have steered my path as a stylist to more natural and gentle methods of styling. I am well versed in multi- textural, low maintenance but high impact hair. My techniques are built on a foundation of classic European high- end styling.

I have witnessed the transformation of countless heads varying greatly in texture. A philosophy I have is that beauty never goes out of style, and curls are one of a kind, not “perfect.” My goal is to empower people by helping them embrace and understand their hair holistically. Good hair can empower people to embrace their natural beauty and reclaim their confidence.

Over time my work reflects the relationships I have with my patrons. I can be decisive or collaborative. I can take drastic measures to change hair or help you learn to love it. I like to base hair design on the entire body’s proportions as well as the lifestyle of each sitter. My interest in hair exist across disciplines and schools of thought. I am endlessly fascinated by the history, mythology, science, spirit, and personally assigned powers of hair.
